The maximum supported resolution is 4096 x 2160@60Hz. This 4K resolution is ideal for displaying videos, pictures, presentations etc. Please make sure the USB Type-C™ port of your laptop or Macbook supports DP Alt Mode.

The adapter also supports Alt Mode, a functional extension of USB-C™ which enables the USB connection to transmit non-USB signals. Alt Mode is an optional capability that is unique to the USB-C™ connector / port that allows technologies like DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 3 to be transmitted.
