At Nedis we achieve the best results together on the basis of our 9 core values: teamwork, respect, involvement, ambition, positivity, responsibility, transparency, trust and flexibility. We keep these core values in mind during our daily work to make the right decisions in dealing with colleagues, customers, suppliers and business partners.

Work-home balance

Since January 1 2020, Nedis provides employees with a better working- private balance in their daily work. Since then, employees of Nedis are allowed to work part-time (50% of total employment) from home. For the guidelines regarding working from home, please check our company regulations.

Ambassadors Program

Nedis provides its employees with the needed discount on their own products. You, as an employee, can buy the latest new products of home & Living, Smart & Connected and Private Label! Would you like to buy one of the latest Smart speakers? Please visit our Company regulations for further details.

PV

The Nedis Employee organisation ('personeelsvereniging'), in short, the PV, is a group of enthusiastic colleagues that organises social activities throughout the year for its members. Think about activities such as a smashing party, family days, Sinterklaas party and of course the traditional winter lunch. We also organise sporty activities every now and then. As this is a local occasion this is open to employees of the Dutch Nedis entities only, unfortunately.

Employees' input is highly encouraged

We highly value our employees' own input, also when it comes to the implementation of our products. At the end of 2021, we introduced the new Nedis Ninder app where all Nedis employees can vote for new product ideas. All suggestions are then shown in the Ninder app and can be rated by anyone in the company with a "thumbs down" or a “heart”, very similar to a well-known dating app. This way, we encourage our employees to come up with new ideas and really work on our brand together as a team.

Sustainable employability and personal development

We have introduced the training platform GoodHabitz | Online courses for companies  | GoodHabitz Online Training to you. This is offered via SAM werkt. SAM is an initiative of the Sustainable Employability Foundation for the Technical Wholesale Trade, in which employees' and employers' organizations join forces to stimulate the sustainable employability of skilled personnel in the technical wholesale trade.

Code of Conduct

For us as the Nedis group having companies and sales activities around the world, it is important to lay down binding standards of conduct that we expect all our employees to adhere to and to take appropriate disciplinary action in the event of any violations. We are confident that all our employees and other persons who work for the Nedis group will adhere to these standards of conduct and the highest standards of ethical behaviour. If any unclear situations arise in day-to-day business activities, this Code of Conduct will provide practical guidance. The Code of Conduct contains binding rules that apply to all employees and all others working for any of the Nedis group companies. They are designed to help deal with ethical and professional challenges in our day-to-day work. Any employee may speak to his superior or the HR department at any time if he has questions or concerns relating to the Code of Conduct.

Mutual respect, honesty and integrity

We respect the human rights, dignity, privacy and personal rights of every individual. We work with men and women of different origins, nationalities, cultures, religions and colours, nurturing a culture of mutual respect and trust. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination, humiliation, oppression, harassment or offence. In particular, we strictly condemn sexual harassment and bullying. We categorically reject the use of child and forced labour. We are open and honest, act with integrity and take responsibility for our actions. We are reliable partners and do not make promises we cannot keep. These principles apply both to the way we interact with each other within the company and to our conduct in dealings with external partners.

Whistle-blower policy

Nedis’ whistle-blower policy is intended to encourage and protect employees who report suspected or actual behaviour in the workplace that is unethical, illegal or goes against our Nedis9 values. This includes, for example accounting, controls or auditing matters, breaching customer confidentiality or privacy, theft, fraud, bribery or corruption and violations of any other laws, regulations or Nedis policies.

Company regulations

It is important that every employee knows how his or her organisation works and what the company and safety rules are. This provides clarity and increases understanding and thus cooperation with other colleagues and departments. That is why these company regulations have been drawn up. Every employee of Nedis B.V. and TeCo Holding B.V. receives the company regulations when he or she starts working so that he or she is familiar with the company and safety rules. Whenever 'Nedis' or 'employer' is mentioned below, it shall also refer to TeCo Holding B.V. Whenever reference is made to the male form, this also includes the female employee.
